At Undiscovered Workplace we have developed a seamless process to safely decommission and recommission your desktop IT.
We work with your internal or external IT team to make sure the move goes smoothly. First, we’ll agree on exactly what needs to happen and when before the move. Then, an IT audit sheet will be completed for every desk position. That way, we can include a photograph of the existing setup. The audit sheet will have details such as left and right screen, desk number, make, model, location and connection.
Once all of your equipment has been packed up into secure IT crates or cages with anti-static bubble bags or padded screen covers, we’ll pack smaller items such as earpieces into a labelled clear plastic bag so you can easily identify them later when it’s time for recommissioning.
When it’s time to recommission your desktop computers and other devices, the inventory ensures the process runs smoothly and each device is positioned correctly at its new location. All IT cable management is neatly managed throughout the process so they don’t get tangled up!
