In April 2021, Undiscovered Workplace started discussions with Rickard Luckin regarding their office relocation at Aquila House, Chelmsford. Rickard Luckin were coming to the final stages of their workplace strategy, which incorporated a hybrid working style and a paperless office space. Rickard Luckin moved from circa 22,000 sqft to 10,000sqf of new office space at County House in Chelmsford.
Undiscovered was appointed as the move management company. Working alongside the internal facilities team Undiscovered, assisted Rickard Luckin to plan their office relocation and furniture recycling project which happened in August 2021. The office move was completed over one day, the larger part of the project was the office furniture clearance over 4 floors at Aquila House, this consisted of 12 vehicle loads of redundant office furniture.
“This office move has been the biggest project Rickard Luckin had ever undertaken. Right from our first meeting, Dan made us feel more relaxed about the whole process. Knowing Dan and his team had the experience; expertise to complete the task on time and on budget took a lot of the stress and worry from us. Even later when a few issues arose, Undiscovered were on hand to help and ensure the smooth transition into the new office. We were also able to hand over the old building on time, which was quite a task in itself.
Staff who were involved during the move all commented on how friendly and helpful all the team at Undiscovered were throughout the whole move.”
Undiscovered Workplace completed the project ahead of schedule which saved the client money.
