In 2020 Undiscovered Workplace was appointed as the move management company to manage the relocation of the charity’s offices from Shoreditch to Southgate, London. They were relocating 65 employees over a weekend and moving their storage cabinets, IT, chairs and break out furniture. The desks and meeting room furniture was being made redundant and therefore required recycling.
To move to larger offices to enable expansion within the charity and better amenities

To recycle the furniture with an emphasis on 0% landfill and to provide analysis of where the furniture was re-homed

The project was completed on time and to budget. We saved the client money and managed to offset the resale of 65no desks to their final invoice for their office relocation. The client was very pleased. The rest of the furniture was re-homed via charities and community projects.
